We offer ministries for various generations.  We love for you, your family and friends to get involved!

 

Outreach Ministry of the church shall give attention to ministries of compassion, justice and advocacy.  These ministries include local and global missions, Christian unity and inter-religious concerns.  The Outreach Ministry include the following teams.

  • Backpack Food Program-This program began in 2011 because of the need to feed hungry children on the weekends in the Gaaston County Schools System.  The first year over 300 students were provided meals.The menus for the food bags were designed by the chief dietitian at Gaston Regional Medical Center. The food is purchase in bulk through a special agreement with CaroMount Health and their Premier Purchasing Program. Our is  church currently feeding  about 20 students at lda Rankin Elementary School.
  •  
  • CCC (Carolina Cross Connections)-A year-round Christ-centered ministry with a camp like environment for youth and adults. The camp is in Western North Carolina and operated by Western NC Conference of the United Methodist Church. The focus is on service projects, worship, devotions, recreation and team building. The camp uses multiple camp sites in Western North Carolina.
  • CRO (Community Relief Organization)

  • Mount Holly Community Garden
  •  
  • Operation Christmas Child-a project of Samartian's Purse which provides spiritual and physical aid to hurting people aroud the world. During  the Christmas season, children received shoeboxes filled with age-appropriate toys and gifts.

  • Celebrate Recovery Ministry-Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program based on the Beatitudes. It is currently being used in over 3500 churches nationwide and internationally.
